Thread: Droid naming/battery issue

I've been trying to give my new 3PO droid a name but can't. Tried numerous times with six or seven commands to get the name to change, but it doesn't. With the new battery "upgrade" from the last patch all droid power ratings are listed at 75%. I thought that maybe this "bug" might be hiding a low power condition so the droid won't accept the commands - and hence not take the name change. But when I try the commands normally (not "program"), the droid follows them perfectly - so apparently its not the battery.
Any clue why this is happening? Are 3PO droids just not namable or do they have some odd naming conventions? (I'm trying to name it Jeeves - not Darth Vader or anything!)

Biped droids (protocol, LE, surgical) can't be renamed. I have no idea about the battery thing.

Already reported as a /bug.

You're kidding me right? YouCAN'T rename a biped droid, but youCAN a MSE, R unit, probot, etc?!

I can't recal ever being happy about it...its now just one of those things I've accepted...
Its kinda like not being able to use the female restrooms, I've just accepted it, figured it was because I'm a guy I guess....
