It appears that, contrary to what we were told, we can customize Advanced Droid Chassis during crafting again. This is in addition to being able to customize the final droid "deed".

Both are droppable and displayable, so we got the best of both worlds.

I did not test, but suspect that the chassis' customization is completely ignored during the final combine. To me this is actually a bonus, because it means I can use any old chassis I have lying around to make a droid for a customer who wants a specific color.

Most excellent... I have been sitting on an order for a number of customized chassis until after P8 went "live".. simply because I was not sure if we'd be able to make the requisite mods.

Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.
