whats the command your trying to /tellpet ? I remember a while back at least, the command had to be a single character (ie. /tellpet a) if a = attack command.

Tellpet doesnt seem to work if your command IS one letter. make it a word and try it out then.

As a former Master Creature Handler, I got to play around with /tellpet quite a bit. Single letter commands DO NOT WORK with the /tellpet command. The minimum is 2 letters.
What I usually do is something like this:
Attack - aa
Follow me - ff
Follow target - ft
Group - gg
Then it's really easy to simply type them when needed, but it's also easy to setup macros with /tellpet and the above commands. Try making them all at least 2 letters and I think you'll find that it works.

What I've noticed as a Master CH is every once in a while my pet stops responding to /tellpet. If I simply retrain attack as "attack" and follow as "follow" it starts working again.
