Thread: looking for harvester droid on Bria
Thank You
Kinn Jeckoo Bria
why is it useless you wonder this is the reason.
you cant double harvest with it (like in groups).
you HAVE to got novice scout to use it.
and it actualy doesnt harvest automaticly and so making it allot slower then manual harvesting as scout.
the only nice thing is that you dont have allot of resource X in your inventory.
i wonder if the harvesting feature got tought trough by devs. in theory its nice but the practice of it is realy useless.

I want one, but it is a little special purpose rather than something everyone with Scout might want.
Ihave been skilling up onrifle, and wasting most of the harvestables. Iconceal prone far away from the lair take out the spawn, tap, repeat until empty. By thetime I'm donemost of the corpses have poofed, but I hope the droid can be out there harvesting away.
Only thing I am not sure of is whether it will get agro. If it does, it needs a combat module so it won't run away. I can probably kill off its attackers before they do too much damage, so just one weak combat module would be fine.
From what I hear, it has to have storage to keep the resources othewise they do go to your inventory. If you have an R3 with storage and combat, what is the best harvest percentage you can get?

So it is possible for a Novice Scout to Harvest like a Master.
My friend has a char who is Master DOC / Master CM; leaving only 17 Skill points which he alternates between Artisan or Scout when he is collecting his own resources. Now he can harvest decent amounts of meat with his harvesting 1 skill.
And SmokeMasta, if you create a /tellpet Harvest macro, all you need to do is target the corpse & press one button. So no longer than harvesting yourself.
