I was completing my R3 chassis which required a combat cluster (which had 3 modules inside), a droid brain, etc and I go to complete the craft and it FAILED FAILED FAILED!!!!!!!!!!

I was like WHAT THE! I don't remember ever failing at that stage before. Well I checked my droid and sure enough the battery power was at 0%.

I shall remember that every time I am at a critical stage of crafting.

BTW has anyone noticed the battery juice runs out pretty quickly?

My crafting droid has been on zero power since it's initial batteries went dry months ago.

Crafting mods do not need power

Agreed - crafting needs no power.

I did have the misfortune to be sitting half way up the hill to the Imp base in Bestine and just about to hit the final combine on an R3 when a spice fiend appeared (as they do) and so I'm in combat and a lovely R3 goes to dust.

Might not be the reason, but it was a sad moment.

LOL a few months ago I went through the same thing. For a few weeks, everytime I had a CF, I thought it was my droid needing a recharge. Its just bad luck trust me.

I have crafted a few hundred droids along with the thousands of subparts that go in them. I can tell you it makes no difference.

Once I CFed twice in a row on an R3 deed. Was soooo pissed. Recharged droid, next attempt, CF. Could have put my fist through the monitor.

So I can tell you from experience, having your droid charged or not makes NO difference when crafting.
