How do i stop my protocol droid from running after me like a frightened child, when i try to leave him patrolling in my shop? I've issued the 'stay' command before teaching him his PP's but the minutei try to escape to my nearby workshop he either chases after my speeder or warps to my new location!

Any suggestions? A restraining bolt, perhaps?

Have you considered removing his legs honey? Or perhaps adding a reverse polarity power coupling in each foot, leaving him hightly magnetised and then placing him on a steel panel (one on the wall is a good selling tool). Or you could make some herding MSE's who could keep him in his place by baffling him with their rapid, complex whizzing across his path. Alternatively you could program him with an intense fear of some innanimate object, perhaps a particular type of plant, and then leave one by the front door; only be careful not to choose a local flora as the last time I did this and then called my droid outdoors he took one look around and his head exploded...

... sorry flower, on a bit of a 'happy' today
