Yea, what is EtG?

And like said above... if better combat droids are implemented, it's most likely to come with a separate "droid handler" profession of some type, and that is something I -DON'T- want to see.

So for the time being, I'm rooting against combat droids.

I was wanting to know if any one else thinks that the combat droids in SWG are a joke. But the ones inside of the DWB and the vette run are awsome and the ones that roll on LOK are great why cant the DE make them. I think the DE is lacking in the combat area. Dose any one else agree with this. We need better Combat droids. What do you think ?

The currently available combat droids are working as intended. The DEVs have made it clear that to get more powerfull combat droidsthere must bea limitation to prevent game imballances.The problem has been that a systemto add powerfull droids for players,at the cost of skill points or some other factor,has not been worked out yet. Nothing is likely to be done about it until well after the CU.

Gotta echo some of what's been said here, and to that end, the droids really aren't that bad - my DE is also a Gunslinger (Pistoleer 4-0-0-3) and I use my R3 combat droid with auto-heal all of the time. Sure, it doesn't fare well against high end mobs, but really the game is supposed to have you fighting high end mobs with other players. We've never supposed to have been able to solo high-end mobs, droid or no droid.

At the end of the day, droids are great for one thing no matter the level of your enemy - cannon fodder. If it wasn't for my droids running distraction on a couple of unfortunate Kimogila (I think, some big lizard

) spawns on Lok, I probably would still be trying to finish the Han missions on that planet
