if you are looking to harvest hide, you'll need to click on a creature corpse and use the radio menu to choose harvest than hide. This should work.
Please correct me if i am wrong.
If you got novice scout in your template, get yourself a solo group as harvestor droids are nerfed atm, you will be able to get a harvest bonus when you are in a group.

I can harvest by myself, but I thought the droids were supposed to do something. :/

You need to program a command that you will say in spatial or via /tellpet in order to get the droid to harvest.
You select the program command from the radial menu, a '?' will appear over the droid. Then say you command; like "Harvest" or "H", or whaterver you want. If the droid accepts the command, a '!' will appear over the droid.
From then on, when you say that command with a corpse selected, the droid will attempt to harvest the corpse.
You can simply say it in spatial chat, or use /tellpet harvest for example (if you programmed "harvest" as the command).
You also have to select the resoruce type via the radial menu.
Make sure to keep the corpse selected for a few seconds after giving the command so that the droid gets it.

Droids with harvesting modules will have a additional command that you can program which will activate the harvesting feature of the droid. The Droid will move towards the corpse and harvest the units for you.
As for the "nerf," it is my understanding that the issue is that droids do not count as a member of a group anymore (because group members give a harvesting bonus to Novice Rangers and above). However, if the droid is not part of your group and you arn't in a group period (hunting solo), the droid bonus should still work. It currently does not work when you have some other harvesting bonus influencing you (such as the recently added Ranger bonus).

I have a Harvesting Droid but I have NO idea how to make it work. I can set its interest to hide, but what do I do next? What is it SUPPOSED to do for me? I am clueless. I appreciated any help you kind DE's can give me.
