Hmmmm..... I don't know. Never had anyone order a protocol droid. Sold lots of chassis, but no deeds...

So what do all of you do with the protocols?

I only just discovered that I can color them today, by the way, because he ordered a protocol advanced with nothing but storage modules. (I don't have the resources to make a level six, so it took two mods to max thecapacity) He just wanted a protocol to follow him around and look cool. Is coloring them a master skill? This was the first one I'd made since going master.

I used one of my golden billboard chassis'from my shop to do it... think I'll replace it with a colored one.

I usually stick a merchant barker module and/or storage module in them. As for changing the color of the Protocol droid, I'm pretty sure that there is no option to color the chassis. It can only be colored when making the deed I believe.

Thats all I do is put Merchant Barker module in them. Haven't been able to make them for ages 'cause of the specific Steel they need

You can't color the chassis, but you can color the deed.

However, the customization kit don't work on them, so the color won't stick.

I mainly sell deeds because of that.
People want colored 3PO as furniture.

I had a 3PO some times ago, with a foam effect and a barker module.
I was able to use both and had great fun with it.

Beside that, I only build them on order, because of the color and name bugs.

Just last night i threwa WDG station and item storage into a protocol droid for a guy

He was going to start trying for weaponsmith.

I make an arms & armour model droids, with CA and WDG stations out of the protocol chassis too

I used to sell protocol droids with 110 medical and merchant barking. I called them Coronet Specials. The docs loved em, but demanded more. I ended up making Coronet Special v2.0 that is on a BLL chassis and has 110med/barking/food/craft station. Those sell really well... so no, I don't know what you'd use a protocol droid for.

I don't see myself putting a playback mod into a protocol, most ents want at least 4 effects/tracks.

I went to the Jawa Traders POI last night. I tried to talk to a Jawa Trader and it said I couldn't understand them. I was wondering if by chance the Protocol Droid could actually translate. Is there anyone that can talk to these guys? I thought about making one and trying it out. But with 5 droids in my data pad I would have to destroy one

. It would be nice if we could drop a droid in our house and pick up another one to take with us.

Nope, only thing that helps at the Jawa Traders is having Smuggler Underworld 1.
