Thread: Droid Structure Maintenance for the NON-DE

Greeting Clan,
I just got a new droid with storage and structure maintenance. I've added a few structures to the maintenance list (a house and a few factories). I'm unclear however exactly what this is going to do or what else I need to do. Luckily I've read the threads below cautioning me to edit the list prior to destroying the structure.
Does this module repair the structure if the maintenance is below 100% or keep the maintenance amount at its current levels (say 27 days 3 hours) or top it off and keep it there? Does it pull from my bank or my pocket?
A little reference information would be nice or direction to a link to answer these questions...
Also, how are you guys using the datapad module? I haven't dropped anything in there yet. Is it only good for schematics or WP's too? How about extra swoops? or Pets.... or droids?
BTW I'm now a proud owner of 5 droids and LOVE them. You guys rock. Don't drop your profession. You guys build loyal clientele. I can't imagine going to another MDE.

not sure about the mantainance but the data module is only for schems.

for the maintenance module you have to target the droid and select perform maintenance run, at which point it will bring up a window that will let you add maintenance to any/all of the structures (can't remember where cash comes from, its wherever it comes from when you normally add maintenance).

A maintenance droid will only apply credits to structures whuch you tell it too. After you assign the droid to your structures you then go to the maintenance option on the radiul. You tell it which structures go too and then you give the credits to the droid for each structure you are doing maintenance on. After you have it set up you send the droid on it's way.

The maintenance module allows you to check and pay maintenace to the building bound to it.
When you send the droid on a maintenance run you get to choose the amount of credits you want to deposit. Then it's away for a while until you can use it again.
Datapad modules only work with maunfacturing schematic... but when you are a serious crafter you really need the extra schematic space.
As you said yourself you need to delete a structure from the list before redeeding it, or the module will brake down.

For the damaged structure part of your question. Basically it is just like if you dropped the money in yourself. If it takes 20k to put it back to 100%, and you drop 30k into it. Then only 10k will go towards future maint. I'm not sure visually what you would see on the droid, because my structures have never gotten that low.
