Perma-death off??? Anyone else? Here's what happened... got jumped by 2-3 spineflap guards. Probot on guard mode took on two of incoming spineflaps. I ran, i shouted for it to follow, but it missed or ignored the command. It was out of visible range when it got trashed as I was burst running. Came back to droid after finishing the one off on me, and despite it having zero health bar, I was able to store it and later call it up again. That was about 20 mins later and the droid has nearly healed its action bar and was starting on its health bar which had been depleted and was now about 33% up.

In the end, how did permadeath affect you guys? I didn't notice much change in business. Still people asking for adv probots which I sold for 20-25 k depending on modules. I was hoping for/anticipating increased business in the end. One thing for sure, if droids never wear out, we will eventually have no market.

tested last night....

3 droids sent in to their deaths. 2 perma-died, one was incapacitated and was put back into the data-pad to fight another day.

Well in PvP, if your enemy chooses to attack your droid and manages to take down a HAM bar, then he perma-dies, atleast in my case.

My probot died last night and he did not get up. He even had a corpse.... I was very sad. It was a stupid error on my part that got poor Gadget killed. Maskscent failed as I was running past a Bull Sharnaff.... the Sharnaff attacked me. I had forgotten to turnoff the "Guard" command.... Gadget attacked Bull Sharnaff...

Poor Gadget. I told my husband my droid died and he said "Oh, now you have to buy another one..." I told him I might, but I probably would not bother naming it. Gadget was just a bunch of pixels representing a mechanic being, but I felt like my friend had died.

From what I can tell:

If you are dead and your droid is incapped, it does not delete from datapad.

If you are out of range and droid is incap, it does not delete. This fixes someone killing your droid when you take a shuttle or droid gets lost.

If you are anywhere nearby and alive (or incap), if droid is incapped, it is deleted.
