Hello all..

The title of my post says it all - what DO higher level medical modules allow a droid to do? What is the difference between Medical I, II, II, IV, V, VI?

Any answer to this question is appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know if module stacking is working as intended or not. On one hand I can see the argument for allowing it. Where you really going to put 9 completely different modules into that R3 unit? On the other hand I can see arguments against it. Its too early for me to tell if its working as intended or not.

However, the one thing I wouldn't suggest is stacking modules and not telling your customer that the reason the stat is so high is because the modules are stacked. I'm not going to deal with an angry doctor coming after me because their droid medical rating just dropped from 110 to 85 or because their storage just went from 10 items to 6 and 4 things suddenly vanished from inventory (I don't know if storage stacks or not. I'm just using it as an example).

For that part the only thing I do stack are armor modules on probots and I make sure people know those are stacked. Once I have more confidence that stacking is working as intended and not a bug I will probably change my mind, but until then I don't want any possibility of something I sold suddenly 'fixed'.

The rating on the medi mods indicates how mucheffect they have on the skill of the medic in healing. A combined rating of 100 is equal to the bonus one gets when inside a med centre.

As it stands the modules are supposed to boost the effect of your base medical skill however there seems to be a bug where it can lessen the effectiveness of the healers work. I guess it'd be comparable to a Doctor working with inferior equipment. If your high skill one would expect you to work with the high end mods, but that's just a guess at how the Devs want it to function.

med 1 = 35.... units of some sort.
med 2 = 55 .... units?
and so on.

The question is, what are these units? People generally think it's a percentage of what a hospital is. This has undergone preliminary testing but not is not rigorous, and I don't think the devs have commented on it. But if it's true, you can heal wounds at 35% efficiency as if you were in a hospital if you have a med 1 droid out.

From what I have seen I would say it is a percentage too but I'm not sure. One thing I have noticed is that you can stack the modules to get a better number. For example I put two medic 4 modules in my droids and the medical value comes out as 110 which seems to be the highes value. So I guess all a higher module allows is for you to put 1 module in instead of 2 to get the max medical value of 110. I think if I put justone level 4 in I get 75.

Lvl 4 = 85% effectiveness but modules stack so there is no need for Master =) Bah we are so broken!
