Hi all. My second holo told me Droid Engineer. Which I don't mind.

Read the faq ish post for the hologrinders. It mentions ADV Binary Load Lifetrs as most exp when resources are gathered. Unfortunatly I went to SWGCRAFT to look at what's required and that portion of the site is down at the moment. Could someone post the recipe for these guys so I can plan ahead? Any help is appreciated.

Take a look at the other useful sites that are linked to the forums main page that list the schematics.

BLL takes 6 manipulator arms (from crates). 2 adv droid motivators, and apile of rare resources. Numbers that come to mind (ie haven't looked them up) - 750 Duralloy, 250 duranium steel, 250 generic steel, 750 Duralium Aluminium.

You really don't want to build BLLs anyway. It is far more efficient and less time consuming to simply make Advanced Droid Frame Units (150 steel, 70 fiberplast) from Blueprints II until you're done.

Make MSE droids to get to Blueprints I. Then either keep making MSE droids or, if you have Extrusive Ore, switch to Manipulator Arm Package Sets to get to Blueprints II. ADFU from there on out.

There are items that give you more experience per item, but they are far more complex to make than the ADFU and so take considerably longer per item. While you might be able to get 6000 XPs out of a single Binary Load Lifter, had you simply used that time to make ADFUs you would have earned more. Don't forget that the BLL requires factory-made components, so you have to factor in the time you waste setting up the factory runs. (One of the BLL sub-components also requires factory-made sub-components of its own, thus requiring even more factory runs to be done in advance.)

Yeah, building a droid from scratch takes about a 1/2 hour (and with BLL you have to have factory parts), and the xp is maybe 6k.

You can grind 2500xp a minute using ADF

So unless you're in it for the long haul get the cheapest fiberplast & steel and grind to it. probably take about 12 hours.

If you don't want to spend that hour after hour grinding ADFs, the BLL grind actaully does make more sense, if you have the resources and credits to burn. Someone could set up a few factories and spend two days on a combat grind, while they wait for the BLL parts to be made. In the same time it takes to grind2500 ADF XPyou can grind 20000 BLL XP. Sure it may take more resources, but it also takes a lot less clicking, which is what mostHologrinders want to save on.

Most of the ones I've met just want to get done as fast as possible. "Number of clicks" isn't as important to them as "how soon can I get on to my next holo-profession?"

Factories produce items something like 4x slower than doing them by hand. A run of 1000 Electronics Memory Modules takes 33 hours - and that's only one of the factory runs you'd have to do in order to "grind" 250k XPs worth of Binary Load Lifters. (1000 EMM + 1000 EGPM = 250 ADMS. 250 ADMS = 41 BLL, which is roughly 250k XPs.) Ifyou have the resources on hand, you can grind to MDE in something like 12 hours without too much trouble. I've heard reports of people doing it in 8.
