Man... its gonna be so funny when the space expansion comes out and it is raining bruning X-wings on coronet cause of the deffective R-series.

"R4, take us into a low orbit of Hoth. R4, why are we accelerating toward the planet. R4, We're entering the atmosphere, pull us up!!!"

Mean while an imperial-alliance battlerages on Hoth. One Rebel trooper fires off two blast as an AT-AT with his T21 as a fireball comes streaking down from the sky. "Whats that?" Exclaims a squad commader. Just then the fireball slams into the side of the AT-AT bringing down the transport onto its side in a hail of shrapnel.

The trooper looks over at his commander, "If it were for those droid handlers, we'd never stand a chance against the empire sir" The commander smirks at the trooper, "Nah, that was deffinitely was work of the droid engineers, they've been crafting fine workmanship like that from the beginning."

*Chuckles.*

I'll bet 10,000 credits (on Lowca) that when the space expansion is first released, droids don't factor into starfighter flying at all, perhaps aside from a graphical representation of an R2 head on it. You won't need to own one to fly anything that would normally require it, it'll just automatically assume you have one/don't need one.

Of course you would need one! At least not one made by a DE. See initial post as to why it would be a bad idea.
