OK, so if you read that title and you still decided to read this, then your probably ready to flame me HARD, but bear with me just a minute.

What if they did implement a DH profession, but it only has 2 skill trees. 15pts for Novice, 14pts in each tree, and 6 pts. for master. This profession allows you to use any combat droid. Have each skill box give you better use of your droid, or better droids. Now make sure that any DE can also use any droid in combat just as effectively as these DH's can, with MDE giving you like an extra "+ Droid Combat" skill modifier, making your droid shoot more accuratly, or get out of the way of a pissed off Baz Nitch better.

The DH tree only costing 59 pts, means that most will opt to go for it, as opposed to going through the entire DE tree, along with at the very least the Engineering tree and using at LEAST 93pts. Plus this means taht since most people will be able to use droids but wont necesarily be able to build them, that we still have a nice market to sell our wares. We dont want DE's all over the place flooding the market, and destoying our ability to support ourselves. We also want people to have to pay a little in skill points to be able to use our driods, we dont want them getting our cool toys without using a few skill points, but if they have the option of spending 59pts for Master DH, or 93pts for MDE, there gonna stick with MDH and Master Commando.

Now people are gonna ask, why not just have DH be a regular four tier profession. Mainly we dont want that because we want to MAXIMIZE OUR CLIENT BASE. If people have to spend 87pts on DH, there gonna have to start giving up a lot of OTHER proffesions, they might not think it worth it, they might decide not to do DH.... and BAM, there went a potential customer, but if its 59pts for MDH, well you can still master pretty much EVERYTHING else except Bounty Hunter and be an MDH.

Now is this a perfect system, of course not, but the thing is... NOTHING IS.Its just that i think it makes more sense to let people use our droids without paying the full cost in skill points, but all you can do is use them, not build them yourself. But also having it so that if you can BUILD it, than you can also USE it just as well as any other DH, if not better.
