Thread: So there WON'T be new combat droids? Thanks for the tease SOE!

Well, if there's no new combat droids on the way then I feel like I've been lied to. I was under the impression that DE was going to be a primary concern for the next major update. I even got another account so he could be a DE and make the "new" combat droids. If by "new" you meant an upgrade to probots then I think I'll be dropping my other account as soon as the subscription expires. The only way I'll keep that account is if there truly are combat droids. What I want are droid dekkas, Trade Fed. type droids andIG-88 bounty hunter type droids. I also don't want a separate class for Droid Handler. A master DE should be able to control all the droids they can make. If this isn't cleared up soon then SOE can expect to lose a paying account.

Droid is one of the things that people refer as Star Wars and its the ONLY thing SWG lacks

Wow i planned to get an extra account this weekend and make a merchant toon to provide me some better income. Guess we can forget that now.

This blows. Where did you read no new droids as I was under this impression too. If that is true I will also be dropping my second paying account.

hate to tell you this guys, but that is a hollow threat to SOE. You don't get a second account, but you still have a FIRST account. They look at it as this our profit margins are X we expect them to go to Y but if we only get half of Y we still make a better profit. They are not looking to keep current customers, but recruit new ones. Look at what Lucas Arts just put out.
If you really want to hit SOE and make Lucas Arts look at thier practices. Quit all of your accounts.
That is the only thing SOE will care about, Losing profits.
