Recently, I crafted for a customer a MSE, Advanced Droid for a customer. On this droid, he wanted a Weapon Private Crafting Station and 10 item storage. I crafted this item and sold the droid (price matters little in this case, however for players that are interested, I priced it at a good price because this would be the only crafting droid he would need). I got good experimentation and used good quality materials.
A couple hours later, he informs me that the private crafting station is not working. Upon review, the crafting station is installed (visual check on stats). And I was able to use it for my Droid purposes. (Meaning, I was able to experiment and create schematics for Droid Parts). I tried a second identical model and he told me that he was having the same problems. We tried it far away from a crafting station as well and still the results persisted. I let him use my Old Probot (back when 821 HAM was a pretty good droid and their was no such thing as combat modules.) He still could not use it. The Weapon/Droid/General Crafting Station installed on one of those three Droids should have worked.
I gave the customer his money back and he was nice enough to still give me a fraction back to cover my resource exepenses. I did not try with other modules because it was getting late.
Is there some bug in the Weapon/Droid Crafting Station for WS that I do not know about? I did not see it under our Bug Thread. Is it a bug dealing with the chasis/Module combination? I tried on two different modules. Please give me some guidance on this subject. It could be that the customer was trying to rip me off. I did let him keep the MSE droids. But, I doubt he was doing that. For the amount of time it took to trouble shoot and the fact he tipped me back some of the costs for resources, I do not think he did. He was fairly knowledgeable about crafting, he had indicated that he had tried a variety of Master Crafting Classes. Plus I gave him detailed step-by-step instructions that were plainly obvious (borderline insulting... I asked him even questions of "Is the Droid Out?" and "Do you have the correct droid Out?" and "Is it charged?" and a multitude of remedial questions. He was very patient about these basic questions.)
What do you guys think? Any suggestions/similar issues?

To get the question out of the way, what Crafting tools was he using?

That is the first thought that I had as well. It would sound like the person was trying to use a crafting tool other then a W/G/D crafting tool. I would bet that the person was trying to use a Generic Crafting tool, or some other crafting tool. If this is the case, the person would be unable to experiment on the schematic, nor would he be given access to all of the schematics available.

What they said... Definately try to get back with the customer and see what the problem is. If there's some new bug that has crept in we need to know about it.

Well the problem that I am talking about is not a common one at all. Only happened twice in about a year that I can think of, and I craft a lot. So it's not exactly common enough to really be a big issue.

All right, that sounds like a good question. I will ask him tonight when I log on. I had thought that I asked him if he was using a Weapon/Droid/Generic Crafting Tool instead of just as Generic Crafting tool, but I might be mistaken. If he had, I will make sure to post this and we can add that to our list of broken items. I do not want to needlessly jump on the "Its Broken Devs, Fix it Now" bandwagon until I clarified this last bit of information.
Thank you for your prompt reply and I will get back with you as soon as I get infomation from him. I will also try to recommend the relogging part about it. Although, it would be highly annoying if you had to do this everytime and would make these droids a definite inconvenience.
The only issue is that he told me that when he was near his Guild's Crafting Station/Public Crafting Station (at the Starport) it worked well for him.

Yep, the tool was my first thought as well.
Did the person also try logging out?
I have had some times that I had my droid out near a crafting station then got into a situation where I couldn't craft. The only way to clear it was by logging out all the way.

Upon consultation with my Customer, he IS using a Weapon/Droid/Generic Crafting Tool. I have tried everything in vain. I will try finding another Weaponsmith and see if this is an isolated bug with his character or it is a global issue. The person even went so far as to allow me to include his in-game character name for the rest of us DE to ask him some additional questions.
Sunrunner Galaxy: Laota
I really think that he is not doing a Noob mistake or he is lieing to me.
