Well, I stupidly bought a one-month subscription to the game again (so that I could actually read these super-secret message boards), read up on the patch that was to make DEs viable and played about an hour before I re-cancelled.

Attacking R3s and armor nerfs were not what I envisioned from this promised patch, at least from what we were told in December before I quit and gave away all my credits. In my estimation, crafting professions are now even less fun to play, and combat is impossible on any worthwhile content with an artisan.

Just thought I'd stop in and say hi my former fellow DEs. Keep the faith, and vote for Kerry in November.

I'm just lamenting that certain changes promised as far back as June are still no closer to being a reality, and that the new combat droids DEs have been asking for since Beta are coming in the form of adding a laser to an astromech.

I didn't really want to go into all of my dissappointment with SOE so much as I wanted to let those I was chummy with know that I'm still alive.
