I'm not DE, I'm just woundering, the publish notes seem comfusing. Are there going to be new model droids for us to buy and use in either publish 7 or 8?

No new droids in 7.

Not sure about 8. We don't have a lot of info about 8 yet.

I want destroyer models as seen in episode 1 & 2!

They have a picture of some of the advanced ones in the "Droid Invasion" wallpaper, so we'd better get some.

But we know they aren't coming in Pub 7, that's just CL10 droids. So we're out of luck for now at least.
