I am trying to craft up the domestic arts tree up to novice tailor...I have 2 sets of macros, first set loads the schematic, (I am making clothing crafting tools atm and have 5 of these macros made up, one for each tool), and the second macro ends it.Whats happening is the second macro seems to kick in randomly like its on some sort of loop ending my craft at whatever stage its in when it hits. All thats in the macro box is:

/next crafting stage;

/next crafting stage;

/createPrototype practice no item;

/createPrortotype practice no item;

I have used this macro before and not had any trouble, if anyone else has had this probelm, or if any macro guros can see the problem I would be gratefull.

First of all, do you manually select the draft schematics? If so, make sure youre not near a station because that will cause you to add a new comand.

You have to add an extra stage if you are near a crafting station:

  • /next crafting stage;

  • /next crafting stage;

  • /next crafting stage;

  • /createPrototype practice no item;

  • /createPrortotype practice no item;

Ok, so I broke down and installed the crafting macro, set it up to make advanced droid frame units, and used it for a few days. Filled in two skill boxes. Today I go to do another box worth of grinding, and the schematics are different. It wants to make seekers instead of frame units. Ok, I think, I must have had a schematic added or they renumbered because of the patch downloads or something. So I count again and put the number in for advanced frame units... (it has moved by five places...) and start grinding. Only problem is, after killing off about one k of fiberplast and a few k of steel, my skill monitors haven't moved. I open the skill screen and find after fooling with it a little more, that I am not getting any experience for my efforts. Any. At all. I don't even get experience for adv frame units if I make them manually, as opposed to with the macro. What's going on here? Known bug or is this the first you've heard of it too?

Is your Droid Crafting experience capped out? What are your current skills, and what is your Droid Crafting experience total?

Assuming you're not capped in xp, it's just a display bug. If you log off for a few minutes, and log back on, your xp should show correctly.

Since issue 2 has already been discussed, I'll cover the first one. Everytime you receive new schematics, they go at the end of the list and stay there until you experience a 'shuffle' by changing planets, dying, or logging out for an extended period of time. So everytime new schematics are gained, expect to be changing the schematic number in the macro.

I was/am not even close to maxed out on the ammount of points I could have... I have three of the DE boxes filled, and about 580 points of experience... but I haven't had a chance tosign in again. Lets hope it was that display bug you were talking about.

As for the re-ordering of my schematics, the only thing that has happened that I thought might cause that was that they started putting publish 7 in place. I hadn't filled any new... oops Just remembered as I wrote that that I had not changed anything in my macro after filling in that last box. I did add a schematic since the last time I used the macro. Problem explained. I feel like such a doof.

You were right about it being a visual bug... the skill points were there when I signed on today. Thanks for the responses.

Lol. I suppose so. I've been considering changing it to "There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't" Maybe I should leave it like it is for a reminder... although a lot of good it did me.
