Are the Armor Module gonna be stackable with publish 7 ??

or there is no need to put 2 armor modules in a R3 unit ?

Thanks for answering

As best as I'm aware....yes, they should be.

Drashk made a report on this on the Publish 7 Update thread.

Drashk wrote:

I tested out the new armor resistances and here is what I found....

Module Level Module Rating Resistance
1 1 - 3 4%
2 3 - 5 8%
3 5 - 7 12%
4 7 - 9 15%
5 9 - 11 18%
6 11 - 13 20%

Armor stacking now follows the same system as the other three level based modules.

That is all I have to report for now.

If you stack two Armor6's, are you still capped at AR0, 20% resists?

Yes. There would be no benefit to stacking 2 L6 armor modules.

So no use to put 2 Lvl 6 armor module in a droid ...

Better put 2 Lvl 3 armor module will still get the same kind of armor..

did i understand right ?

Also, does the quality/layering of the Composite Armor Segment have any effect whatsoever
on the overall quality/resists of the Armor Module it goes into?

I remember reading in January from TH I think that different combos of modules would have different effects on the outcome. Could it be possible to put lets say a L2 and a L6 module into a droid and get a resist of 30%? Hmm can't wait to try this out but my guess is no because we'd be moving away from CL10 creature range.

Btw TheRealTK421, congrats on being the new correspondant!

Thanks...

I haven't gotten into testing a ton of different armor module variations yet. To play it safe, I'd work off of well-experimented L3 or 'standard' L4 armor modules to get the new max. armor rating (20% resists to all).
