I had an r3 with a medical mod that I used for healing wounds, before the patch I could call him and heal wounds fine, now since the patch everytime I wip him out and try to heal I get the "must be in a med center..." msg. What is up with this, is this droid worthless now?

Try adding a battery to it and see if that solves the problem.

i guess that is it, batteries are now required, storing doesn't recharge them anymore?

Since this weekend, no, storing does not recharge them anymore. They also seem to be using up power allot faster also.
