I hope the Droidekas in the droid cave (-3316 -4901) under the volcano on Lok are not representative of what SOE intends to offer as DE crafted"combat" droids. 4 of us cleaned that place out with ease this weekend. They looked very cool but unfortunately they were about as tough as baby kreetles.

I guess the tougher ones would be cool as a standoff weapon but they didnt strike me as something that would be as useful as my rock beetle. Still, I don't think I'm in the minority when I say I'd rather have a slightly weaker Droideka following me around than a goo spitting ladybug.

BTW if you go there do not forget to clone (like I did). It is a long long long LONG walk back. Dying and spawning at the Imperial base helps a little but not much.
