Next test: Will it hold color?
Yes, I tested an R4, R3, and a Mouse Droid. All held color.

Do you know if those were 'new' droids (built after Thursday) or were they older?

Yep new R2's hold colors
Every droid Ive tested since the first hotfix after the patch has managed to hold its color, although I havent tested all of them. Is anyone still having problems coloring any of the models new or old?

I knew the new ones are holding color. I was just wondering if in the patch today they fixed it so the old ones would as well.

So is the problem with droids crafted before the patch or tamed before the patch?

Can someone test an old astromech, and see if it holds color? I got rid of all my old droids when I found out that the new droids held color, on Friday.

I just realized I have an old R3 (built a new one when I found out they would hold their color but hadn't deleted the old one yet). Logged in and colored it. No luck. They still don't hold their color (pre-patch actormechs, that is).

Confirmed. Older r2, r3 type droids do not hold color. Newly crafted droids do.

I call my probot "Nerfbat", my crafting droid "FixIT"....
Oh, wait, that's not what you meant... ![]()

Well, some color is certainly better than no color, but it's gonna be somewhat difficult with customers who ask to have their droids painted. There'll be no way to tell if it'll work or not.
