I have my alternate character a CH/Ranger, and wanted to have a medical/crafting droid for meds. I pulled him out the first time and got the customization faded thing, and then when i was done, put him away. He didin't ask for power.

Now here is the situation. Now for the last 2 days I have tried to pull out the droid, and i constantly get the message one of 2 ways. Either the "Can't call pet in private building", or "gotta be in a city or camp FOOL". Since my primary character isa DE, I know all about the restrictions on calling them. However, in the middle of the city of Coronet, outside, on the sidewalk, is NOT A PRIVATE BUILDING! Same goes for in camp. What camp is private anyway. Go in a building (like some pets need) and it says the latter about being outside. Crap, so i go back outside, and PRIVATE BUILDING again.

Anyone else having this problem? Droid = MSE

None of the astromechanics, nor the mouse, nor the power droid can be pulled out of the datapad, if it was made on Friday, Oct 10.

The bugs in this game require a great deal of precision to describe them. This is part of their plan.

Just on that one day? Odd, but then again, we are talking about SOE...

So, anything made currently is alright?

I made a advanced R2 with storage, put a factory and 3 med mineral mines in it. Now I cant "call" it to get these items back out of it. DOH!

Arggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!

My droid has the same problem. No matter where I am. Near declared residence, in a city, or in a camp,I get the message, "You can't call a droid in a private building."

This is no fun. I spent 30K on the stupid thing. I just wish he would help me. Any advice is welcome.

No. No astromechanics, nor mouse droids, nor power droids, can be crafted since Saturday, Oct. 11.

I am having the same issue with my post patch R2. Has anyone heard or figured a way to call these guys yet?

I can call my droids fine except for when I'm in a building such as a med center or cantina. It used to let me call them in there but now I cannot.

I made an adv surgical last night and could call it fine. The stacked module I have in there is busted but at least I can call it to walk around in circles.

Yeah. Now you actually need to step outside to the street to call the droid and then re-enter the building. A little wierd. The nice thing is that hopefully this will cut down on the jackass CHs who decide to call a Torton in the middle of the Cantina. It certainly won't eliminate it, but maybe it will decrease it.

I read a note that with thelast bigpatch you could only call droids (i.e. pets) outside town, in a camp, or near your declared residence.

I'm assuming they mean right outside town since you're not allowed to call pets outside of town, and that you can call them on your front steps but not too far away from your house. Just remember to declare your house as your primary residence.
