Yep, you need to use a power droid or batteries now.

They were not supposed to recharge before, it was unintended (bug).

Is that official? I haven't heard that as an official statement that I am aware of. If Power droids are doing the right thing (and don't require recharging quite as often, if ever) then that is one thing, but since they are ALL doing the wrong thing (running out in record time), they need to either fix something or put something back the way it was. What's wrong with having a droid charge automatically when put away?

If you're camping and you have a flashlight, and you put it away in your backpack, does it recharge the batteries? No. Now I do agree that the batteries should last a little longer, seems it went from one extreme to the other. Maybe a little middle ground, instead of a battery lasting around 10 minutes, maybe 30 minutes?

I have a flashlight that recharges by shaking it.

And besides, you'd think a space faring culture would have power cells that recharge pretty **edit** quick.

Well.. Nice thing about a flashlight.. but **edit** when i go out camping.. you know i have more than ONE flashlight.. my god imagine that have TWO flashlights out at ONCE..what a amazing concept.. ok now..here is the big question.. You have a power droid out (which should power droids since that is what it is CALLED) BUT guess what..the droid you really really want to charge up can't come out cause you can have only ONE droid out at a time.. which is still way broken in my opinion (still sick when i see novice CH/CH peeps with their animal(s) plus a droid.

I can see if you can have only 1 cmbt droid out plus a non-cmbt droid out would be nice (since we have only really 2 cmbt droid the dz70 and probot, could right a simple code to nail these 2 as cmbt droids so if you can bring out 2 droids you could only just bring 1 of the 2 cmbt droids out). But I am still sticking with the DE class..even though as busted as it is..there is only one way and that is up (well after this last patch it can get worse)..SOO the Gun is still loaded and pointed at the DE class..we are just waiting for the trigger to be pulled.

Well i sure as heck dont have room in my inventory for 30-40 batteries that last 10 minutes long. Who do i get crates of batteries from and whats the going price?

p.s. batteries should last like 4-12 hours based on quality, not 10 minutes.
