Thread: How to get started
Seeker and Arakyd sales have slowed down drastically for me. No more respec for a lot of people. In my opinion, in your position, I would do this....
Make small factory runs of every component we have. This should take you a week or two unless you have 8 or more factories to use. Just 25-50 items each, except regular Brains, of which you wanna make a couple hundred.Inventory management will be very very important, so set up a system to keep track of what you have made and a place to keep it in order. I use one house for this, and I have a backpack with one crate of every module and component DE use. Backpack has about 45 items in it, including some misc clusters. The backpack allows you to craft on the fly. Naturally you'll wanna make yourself a crafting droid, and 2 or 3 more with Item Storage modules to hold resources.
Now, fill up your inventory and droids with your components and a wide selection of resources, then hang out at a popular spot, and make droid-to-order. This will get you some experience with the crafting process. Alternetaly you can just hand make 3 droid of each kind possible, using different chassis and module combinations. List them on a vendor after researching other DE prices to match their prices. Not ONE DE, look at several DE prices. to get an idea of the range.
This process should get you really comfortable with DE crafting, and maybe make you some creds too! Good Luck!
COB has to be activated and, at the master level, lasts about 45 seconds. COB can be used any time you are not holding a ranged weapon.
