Hi guys just wondering if you can give me some advice. At the moment I have two droids I use, one is a Adv Probot (Combat/Tanking) the other is a Adv R2 that has 110 Med, 10 Storage, Astro 6 and combat + armour so it lasts more than 10 seconds. I want a 3PO clone (Just for the hell of it) and I'm trying to think of usess it could have. I've read through the FAQ but none of the modules really jump out at me. I'm a Master Doc/Rifle (Or Master InstaHate as I like to call us) what do you suggest?

Thanks for your time.

DZ.

It depends what modules were put in it - they can hold all but combat modules...and they get a personality chip so you can have a prissy one..stupid one...worshipful one...etc etc etc

A good recommendation is Lvl 6 Droid Storage for 10 Items and Lvl 3 Structure Maintenance...

It gives the droid some functionality and you can send it on its way if its personality starts to bug ya lol.

Either way, protocol droids aren't much more special than ADV MSE droids except for the fact that they have personality and are more complex to construct.

For your own sanity, I would never tell your protocol droid that he is nothing special. I would also strongly advise you never tell him that heis no better than an MSE droid.

So we've decided the modules, now which chip is most 3PO?

If you want to get an advanced Protocol get one with a food/chemical crafting station and storage, with one of the personality chips. This way you have a place to store 10 more items plus you can craft anywhere with it.

A Protocol droid is a Protocol, ask for a paint kit maybe the DE did the wrong color. The other thing is it might be your video card.

Drop a Adv Chassis in a house and you'll see what I mean.

Apperently when the droid is made it looses it shine, bit gutted really

Sounds like you are having issues with the 'Enable Character Lod Manager' box in the Options Menu, under the Graphics tab.

This option automaticaly is enable, by default. If you disable the option, by dechecking the box, the droid should become shiney again. Unfortunately, each time you log on you will need to decheck this box.

Making SWG more Star Warsy. One droid at a time.
