So Do I have to use quality resources to build the droids?. I know I hvae to experiment and use HQ Resources for the mods

Just some of the modules (combat as long as you get over 55 rating, detonation, harvest, trapping, stimpack dispensor, repair/reconstruction kits, droid storage compartments if they're going in crafting stations... thats about all of them). The level 1-6 modules you can experiment to a bit higher levels, but if you're using a level 6 already you can't get any higher (or you're stacking to get a level 6).

Yes experimentation is all but useless for DE's. Don't ever bother wasting money and skill tapes for DE.

I spent about 600k for a full experimentation suit.

I'd actually say now is the best time to get them. Should be able to pick them up at a very good price, and they may well be worthwhile one day.

I think the remaining DE items that benefit from +12 experimenting points are:
* Repair kits and subcomponents
* Stimpack dispenser
* Reconstruction kits and subcomponents (woohoo)
* Trap modules (I believe)
* Interplanetary Survey Droids

Not the trapping modules. only 1 line to experiment on them, easily maxxed out. I wish it was seperate, one line for trapping bonus, the other for the # of traps they hold, but they're not ![]()

Even though alot say its useless, I experiment on everything I make...Waste of time or not, I feel better selling that to people in game, least hten I know it is quality I am selling.
*coughs*
You never know if one day its changed, and all the droids you made and sold, are totally worthless and only because you didn't experiment.
I rather be safe then sorry later down the line.

As great a thought that that is, it goes completely against every change that the DEV team has ever made with retro active crafting changes.
Manyof thechanges made to the droid code actualy helps to prove the fact that most of the droid data isn't saved in the system.

They're still good on droid repair kits, which if you market them, and get the word out about them, anyone who buys a droid for combat will want some of. But yeah, i woudlnt pay much for any DE exp/ass tapes.

That may be true, but I personally would rather be safe then sorry..its up to everyone on how to build there goods. I choose to give them more then what they pay for.
You never know, with all these updates and changes that happened already, they may not save now but, things change, and the devs have shown that with this CU. I would rather be safe..give my customers quality now, before its to late later down the line.
THIS saves my rear..if something like this occures which, can most definately happen.
Though! if this is something that goofs everything up, like for example armorcrafting and the CU (if you all remember, all armor that was great before the CU was changed to terrible with the CU)...well that is something none of us can control.
I think you get my point.
Going aggenst it? nah I disagree with you there.
Saving my rear? most definately
And really, it doesn't take long, or that much effort to click the experiment button
