Thread: No one likes my mouse droids

I've been making tons of them, in lots of diffearnt colors. I find the MSE droid to be very useful, once I lost my door stop so I just used my droid! They can follow you and every thing, I don't make them with any other features because I just got novice DE. I sell them at 2k a deed but no ones seems to want them, do you sell any MSE?
Tbh, mouse droids are not very saleable, they have very limited sockets etc so youcant put much into them, and this is the whole problem with DE for me, no variety, basically to get the best out of a droid you use an R3 because it takes the most sockets, the only time i make MSE's is when i'm making a batch of detonator droids for BH's, plus if you're making MSE droids with no modules then you won't sell them as they have no use hehe
Make the mouse droids in practice mode to get the XP to move up in Blueprints. THen make the Advanced Frame Units in practice mode to get thru the rest of the DE profession. Meanwhile, collect the resources you'll need. Check sites/forums/friends for what you need to be collecting (swgcraft.com is good).
Other than the Suicide Droids (which I refuse to make at all -- Droid Abuse!), people will buy MSE mouse droids with a Level 6 storage module in them. I sell those for about 2K. Other droids that I find sell fairly well even with the bugs are various level astromechs (for levels 2-5, I make an R5 with a Data Module -- 7K), and my Crafter's Friend series of droids (Adv R4 with Crafting Module, Level 6 Storage and Level 6 datapad -- 9K). I sell the ocassional harvester droid (R3 with 6 harvesters in it -- 35K). Also, my Travelling SalesDroid sells fairly well (DZ70 with Barker and Level 6 Storage -- 9K). The HandiDroid (WED Treadwell with Level 3 Struct Maint and Level 6 Storage -- 9K) used to sell until the bugs hit.
Hardcore entertainers like the R3 with either 6 effects (Dancer's Lightshow -- 35K) or 3 effects and 3 playbacks (Droids in the Band -- 35K). Combat droids I make by request, since they're tailored to the individual. 'course combat droids aren't working right atm, so I don't do them for people until the bugs get fixed. And let's not forget the Interplanetary Survey Droids. People DO buy and use these (13-charge droid, 6.5K). But the real moneymakers are probes and seekers (50K crate of 5). I figure BHs have the cash from killing lotsa Jedi, they can afford to support the business. ![]()

You get a free MSE at the starter quest, to get used to droid programming. You might have more luck if they have a usefull mod, like a entertainer mod or item storage.
When I make a detonation Mouse droid, I use the ugliest color combos I can come up with. Then in the description (when putting the deed up for sale) I type, "Please blow this up!" or "So ugly, it deserves to die."
When grinding, we built about 50 or so mouse droinds out of pure boredom, and infested the housemate's bedroom. I'm not sure if he appreciated it as much as we did, but it at least broke the monotony.
I've still got the first R4 droid ("Bob"), with no data modules of any kind. He watches over my storage room for me, and takes up space. Should have kept that first mouse droid... oh well.
