First of all, I realise this is better suited in the GCW forum (and alsothe fact that it probably applies to creatures as well), and in fact I have already posted it in the GCW forum, however since it doesnt deal with how overpowered/gimped one thing or another is in PvP it received very little attention

I dont know if its always been this way or if its only changed recently but its become obvious (thanks to 2 separate incidents) that even though I am covert any called pet has my faction symbol displayed.

I am 99% certain I did not have a TEF (I had been crafting all day) and the pet in question was an R5 I made myself (so not a faction pet). Both times this was spoted by either a neutral or a covert of the opposing faction (I didnt see any faction systembol displayed by their name).

Surely this cant be the way its supposed to be, kinda defeats the whole point of 'covert'

If you are declared, any of your pets (and anyone elses pet that belongs to a covert member of the same faction as you) will appear to have your faction logo next to its name.

However, this is only YOU (and other faction members) see. To anyone else, its neutral so don't panic

I can guarantee you that someone _not_ of my faction could see the faction symbol next to my pet (because I came under a certain amount of abuse because of my faction)
