You'll find very few that can craft a Structural Crafting Module who are willing to craft an MSE. By that level most DE's swear off MSE's forwever. Those that do build them charge a premium because the MSE is so despised. After the charges add up it's cheaper to buy a more advanced droid for your purposes.

Eric... no need for that. I've had to grind my way up and if all I can afford is a MSE droid then so be it.

It's kinda like you, as a Master Architect being asked to build someone personal harvesters. You can do it, but is it really worth the effort for as little credits as you could charge for it?

Well that's really an artisan thing, but someone asked me to build a crafting station for them, took like 30 seconds of my time. I didn't mind and didn't make that good of money from that. That's something you can compare to MSE droids. That's what I crafted my way to master with.

Actually, I'd equate it to something like saying I only want to pay 20k for a large house.

Caedet, MSE's are novice DE items. Architect crafting stations are from Master Droid Constructions ... you are therefore asking a DE to place a high-level DE part into a novice Droid.

This is an exploit of the Droid Engineer profession.

You are an architect that can easily sell houses for 5 times what a DE can sell a droid for. Don't come here and tell us you can't afford anything higher than an MSE. Go sell ONE house and you could probably afford 5.

Simple answer is to charge an R2 price for the MSE droid. Both sides are happy that way.

Well if I could make the crafting modules I'd supply you 2 MSEs with them in.....

.....but charge you the same price as I would for a more advanced chassis (because I price mainly on the module anyway)

Unfortunately you just missed the last R4 with weapon crafting module I had going (because I have to get those in due to not being able to make the crafting modules myself)

What you have to bear in mind about comparisons between this and other professions is that no other profession has something at novice that does exactly job as the stuff at master. Hence why people either wont do it or will charge you the same - otherwise we'd never be able to sell any droids other than an MSE!
