The topmedical rating will come out to 110 (that is whatis displayed at least). Theoretically this is 10% more effective than the standard....but we've never gotten any official conformation on it. Numerous tests were done, including many by myself and doc friends, and the theory seems valid. However its tough to judge because of the random healing/buffing values. The average is pretty close to supporting this though.

I am pretty positive about the 110%.

It is definite that if you put a L1 med mod into a droid, it will impair your ability to heal,....

I've made medical modules with arating of 12 instead of 11. Thisseems to bewhere people are getting the 120% from. However, 110% is themaxfor droidsand so a medical module that would give you 120% actually only gives 110% due to the cap.

I've got CRATES of '12' rated Modules... I would dearly love it if one day soon droids made using these would start coming out at 120%.

This is an unconfirmed suspicion of mine, but a medic friend of mine told me that it seemed that the "recharge" time for applying stimpacks was reduced when they got their medical droid out.

I have not tested that theory.

This brings up an interesting idea. Currently all module capabilities (except power) can go into any kind of droid that takes modules. What if each chassis type had a specialty with a higher cap?

Examples:

Medical Droid gets 120% max medical rating, all others get 110.

Repair Droids get the best repair rate.

R-Series get the best crafting station limits.

Binary Load Lifters (if given module capability) could have the best item storage (e.g. 20 instead of 10).

This would allow each chassis to have a purpose, but at the same time allow people to pick the droid chassis and modulesthey lke best with only a minor limit on performance.

So, let me get this straight: To advance my character, I have to give up my current abilities?

I made a 13 once, but sadly I didn't write down the resources I used so I can't remember how I did it.

12s are quite common, but as has already been said they result in a med rating of 110 when installed in a droid.
