Control unit is a master Artisan schematic. seek out a master Artisan to construct one for you.

...Same with Electronic memory units. Master Artisans are the only ones who can make those.

Yeah, don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. ;p

I started a run last night of 1000 Mem mods in my factory AND I ordered several hundred GP mods from a fellow Master Artisan.

I burned 400 EMM's and 400 GP's last night... a run of 100 advanced brains.

Yeah, you kinda have to be a master artisan.

buddy up with a bounty hunter. BH droids are 1 EMM and 2 or 3 GP's. I've got 2 factories cranking out stuff now. Can you say money?

Don't forget EGPs...you'll be using lots and lots and lots of those...especially when you start making bounty hunter droids. If you're on Sunrunner contact me ingame (Raleran) and I can supply you them.

I concur. The number of EMMs and GPs I go through is criminal.

Here's a tip: Don't just name your schematics 'Electronics Memory Module'. That's a sure ticket to screwing up and using your last crate to create a schematic that you expected to use for a lot more items.

I've taken to naming things like 'EMM1 E84D56' and 'EMM2 E82D62'. This makes it much easier when I'm building schematics that use 'em. The serial numbers are too much of a pain.

EXCELLENT TIP!!! I always have trouble with these guys, especially since I usually add a few GP/Mem mods in case of crit fails while making the schematic. I often wipe them up by making BH droids to polish off the stragglers.

I am naming them this way from now on. Thank you!

Another useful tip:

When you drop crates in your storage area, line identical crates up in a row. Don't stack them on top of each other. There are two immediate benefits of doing so:

1) You always know at a glance just how many identical crates of a particular object you have left, and

2) You can tell at a glance what your factory needs to be making next.

Here's another tip that worked nicely before this latest patch.

When I'd make GP and EMM's, not only would I call them something like "GP 85%" but I'd color them all the same color using the hexadecimal system. So, not only would I have a huge run of crates in the end, but I can tell with a quick glance which crates were **exactly** the same, because they were all of the same color. (I also did this with DB, DMS, ADFU, ADB, etc etc etc... basically all the droid sub-components).

Of course, they had to go remove the coloring of items... and in this instance, it was purely for personal use in my skunkworks, not being sold on the bazaar!

Support the return of Hexa color coding of items!!!

I have two factories churning out the GPs and MMes, perfect for the grinding. And I have 2 BH friends that are up to their neck in seekers and arakyds. But if you grind only do the seekers, probes have only 100 xp more and cost Extrusive ore, which is always hard to get.
