Now that the DEVs have implemented Player Cities I have noticed alot of Polititions and Archetects wanting Protacal Droid Frames. Now they have given us the power to do something. What do I think we should do with this power? I think we should strike until the DEVs give us something back. Simply stop selling all frames to them (giving is more like it though). Thier would be a huge outcry from all of the poeple wanting to make thier city better. Maby If the Creature Handlers stat complaining something would actually happen (just athought but have you noticed that CH sell pets and are also the DEV's pets)

Things that could be done to make us happy:

1) Un-nerf probots

2) Fix silly things like why can't you use a repair mod in a repair droud (come on really)

3) Give droids actual functions between models (modules should be an accesory)

Okay, I've been reading these boards for a while now and have seen the gripes, though very little of it affects me. Yes, we're getting overlooked. Yes, we are useless right now. But most of us knew this months ago and still chose to play one. Right now business is slow, but it will pick up. I'm not a Master DE yet, and with Player Cities coming out, I can't count the request I have had for ADV Protocol Droids. I'm beating myself blind right now trying to make Master, cuz I've lost prolly 15 customers this week because of that (even tho I refer them to a nearby guild). And remember, Vehicles and Starships will also be coming out soon. Our class will definately pick up since the Rebels outnumber the Imps by 63%, and X-Wings need Astromech Droids. Now who do you think will be making them? And who do you think will be making the Vehicles and Starships?

Just hang in there DE's. When I first started this game I could search for a DE and find 10 in any city. Nowadays I think there might be 4, including myself, on my enitre planet. The business will come to us in time because we're so few and far between. Look at how many more Architects there have been in this game since the Player Cities came out. and look how much money the CH's and Architects have raked in from the patch. Our turn will have to come, because as much as the Devs want to turn Star Wars into a game of Druids(CH's) and Pistoleers, they will soon be forced to include us into the game alot more. As Palpatine says over and over, it is our destiny.

In the meantime I'm concentrating on my other professions and enjoying the game all the same.

I admit its slow ...but I've still got business. Just yesterday I sold a least 100k of stuff off my droid vendor (now granted my resources vendor on average pulls more ...but thats besides the point). I think that put me at a grand total of 105k in my bank account haha.

Right now its about customer service, work to keep the customers you've got, and work to make new ones where you can. It will pay you back in spades later on once this profession is on its feet. Offer your customers nicities, for instance I offer free colorization to those who've bought their droids through me, also a money back guarantee for those who are dissatisfied with their purchase.

There is a business to be had, albeit a slow one ....Striking would not serve the cause...
