Ok I know the power droid needs a specific Architect power, and I know that its not the junk one you can see on the bazaar. But can someone tell me the exact name of the module required for the power droid (and is it the same as the part you get as a reward for one of the missions in Mos Espa - from the same guy who gives you the droid brain and GP module that he says Anakin made)

Thanks

Unfortunatly the real thing is listed as a Power Core Unit which is the same thing as the quest part I believe.

I would avoid using any loot when crafting normal items. You can try it and see if it works, but don't be too disappointed if it doesn't. And don't spend alot of money unless you're sure it works. Test one first.

I found the fact that someone thought it was a good idea to name a loot item the same as a crafting component to be very irresponsible on the devs part. I spent a lot of money when I thought I'd found a cheap supply for the rather expensive Power Droid component. And became quite upset when I found I would either have to eat that cost, or waste my time trying to resell everything on the bazaar.

The exact name of the Architect component you need to construct Power Droids is 'Power Core Unit'. Not Power Core, or the Light Power Core Unit.

You would be safer buying your parts from a verified architect since these units usually aren't cheap (10K around here, even though they only take 3600 resources they are a pain to make). And if you see a deal that looks too good to be true, be wary.

Another thing to watch for is people who say they don't have the Artisan parts they need to make the units. If they don't have the parts you can supply them, but charge for them. This happened to me and I gave a player (who did not have the Architect label) an entire pack (50 items) full of parts I made myself because he said he'd give me a really good deal. Then he said he also needed ore since he was out of that particular resource.

I haven't seen him online since then and he has not responded to any of my mails.....

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."
