Thread: There's been a Change to Droid Functionality.
For 2 or 3 months now, I would leave my protocol droid outside my front door while I logged-out and went to work. After I came home in the evening, he was always still there. I know he was stillpresent in the world, apparent toothers, because my wife would see him as she ran by the house, from time to time.I did this for marketing reasons, as it's a bit of a curiousityto run by a house with a protocol droid standing in front of the door. I've had a lot of sales, and I believe this was a part of the reason. Also, I noticed that this only worked near my house. Though I'm not certain, and didn't try it but once or twice, my droids would auto-store when I left them in other places after logging-out.
Now, however, my droids and pets both auto-store when I log out, and I'm disappointed. I'm not sure when this started, because I took a 'crafting vacation' for about a week, but sometime in the past week, droids and pets stopped remaining present in the world after logging-out. My sales are noticeably down. In fact, I haven't had any in the past 3 days, which is quite unusual.
There's also one more important loss here: My protocol droid has now lost what I considered to be a valuable function -- that of Door-man.
Why? What prompted this change, and can we get it back?
Sincerely.
We had ONE really cool thing.
I just sold someone a BLL to use as a billboard, assuring them they could leave it out when they logged.

...it dissappears when I log out too.

Let's keep it up near the top until we find out if it was a deliberate kick in the crotch, or an accidental one.
