Droid Engineer Archive

I haven't built a ton of relationships on this forum, but I wanted to say goodbye to everyone. I love being a DE and all the details involved, but I'm taking my final respec and moving on to combat. 1) The combat droid in Pub 18 was the last straw for me, 2) I'd like to experience other aspects of the game, 3) for a game and something that I pay for, I no longer choose to deal with the aggrevations of this profession. Too many things are broke now, and from reading past posts, it's seems it's always been this way. Not to say that things will ever be perfect, but thereappears to be no direction for this profession other than a complete nerf.

I applaud each one of you that have stuck with this profession and continue to do so. I first logged on 5 months ago not knowing what to do. Once I finally figured out how to get artisan training and use my crafting tool, I went from there. This forum has been such a help to me from grinding to figuring out the little things. I thank each one of you for the time you took to answer my noob questions. I hope that I contributed in some way.

EDIT: lol ya know somethin i thought of while lookin at your auction...i created my crafter the day publish 17 went live when the servers went up...at that time new players post CU were unable to respec...so...i subsequently blew 11 mil grinding both shipwright and DE ( majority of it to SW ) lol...now with the token repsec i coulda just grinded up a double mastery combat profession in 2 days and respeced to crafter =(...THAT'S what really burns
