Thread: Question on Probot, not attacking

Is patch 18 also what is causing the armor on good droids to convert over to 1217 once they've been called once? Got a nasty surprise with my new probot today, and immediately bugged it... THEN I wandered over here from the Ranger forums.
Y'all need the Dev Lovin' as much as us, Smugglers and SLs do. I love droids, wish the devs would show you all the love and fix 'em....

The worst thing Aragorn is that they already gave us "love." We got 2 publishes, but they have since broken every single thing they gave us. Yet since we already got attention it may be unlikely that we will get anymore soon.

This may be a dumb question, but i've never seen it before, havn't been DE long and no i'm not respec.
A probot that cannot be porgrammed to guard or attack? any reason for this?
Any ideas, the guy said it was stupid chip installed! never made a stupid chip, so not sure if thats it or if its becuase it was pre patch 18.

If it was a pre-18 deed (not in the datapad) then it was bugged in the conversion. It lost its combat abilities.

I did think it was the 18 patch, but just wnated to be sure, as i've never seen it before.

Sounds like you all are suffereing from the same twisted logic from some folks... "well, not many folks use droids / play ranger / play SL, so even if it's broken, it's only a small portion of the player base"... grrrr. I hate that line of thought, and I think we all suffer from it. Perhaps if those things were FIXED, more people would play the professions or use the droids... novel concept! 
I just want a working droid. They made my cat useless with CU as far as a hunting partner, so getting a new droid was hopefully going to fix that. And I used to spend WEEKS at a time in game, living on planets like Endor or Dathomir, just me and my droid (then me and my cat) hunting. Unbuffed, unarmored. I was so looking forward to getting a useful hunting companion again, but it seems it's not to be so for some time...
