Hi all,

I have some Droid Combat mods (pre Pub18) that are level 95.

I can put 1 of these with an armor mod level 4 in any droid and it will come out as a maxed CL30

- Health 3742
- Damage 61-284
- Armor 9000

Once called twice these drop there armor to 1217 like all droids but the CL health and damage all stay high!

Any one else finding this as it means I cant make anything other than max CL droids!

Now yes it is odd to complain about this but I have had requests for lower CL droids but cant actually make them.

It does mean I can make a R3 with only one combat mod in and 5 auto-repair mods making it actually very good at fighting!

really!!

The armor mod should not be afecting the damage on only small amounts of heath.

My main point here is I can craft a max CL30 droid with only one cr95 rated combat mod.

So why is anyone gonna want a nice shiny probot or R3 when they can get a DZ that hits for the same!

Yes I know the higher droids can have more rpair, Med Mods etc but customer just dont get that part of Droids!

This was exactly my finding.... for the duration at least I am going to stick to single combat module and single level 4 armor module droids to ideally be used by crafters so that they have some sort of defense when checking harvesters. These are enough to get a level 30 droid (in the current setup) that will destroy at least level 18 critters. More than enough for Level1 crafters I would think and this way they do not pay as much for a droid that may well get re-adjusted later and become a level 10 which is still good for Level 1 crafters. Of course leaving the option open for people to order top level droids in the hope that it will be fixed sooner rather than later.

However, with this current limitation what was once at least 30 different droids at any one time has now become about 10 as it is no longer useful to have a 6 combat, 5 combat, 4 combat etc droids (with price differences to reflect combat). So for me I will concentrate on scout/harvesting droids for low level scouts and defense droids for artisans and crafting droids.
