I don't see any point in using quality resources in the final build anymore. I can't experiment health up any higher. Is health soley based on the number of combat modules and armor modules now? Will ALL CL30 droids have the same health? Is there no diversity between Droid Engineers now?

That's what we've been mulling over here since Pub18 was announced. The only thing that it will matter with is some modules, like combat, detonation, stimpack, trap, auto-repair, etc. Of course, none of it uses all the high quality chemical I saved up...

There's no point at all to experiment the final build. No point to experiment on most of the things we make in fact. exception being what the previous poster listed.
edit: No point in experimenting on combat modules... i made a crappy 30 combat rated module, stuck it in an r5 with 1 level 4 armour module, and still got a level 30 droid, with the 3746 health, and 64-284 damage like everything these day's.
Lesse.. is it possible to dumb down this profession ANY more?? I'd better not say that out loud, or the dev's will figure a way to do it

I've just taken to making DZ70's for combat droids now - they fare as well as the probots/R3's and are a fraction of the cost...
I did some testing over the weekend and grouped with me the DZ70 took out a level 42 creature by itself. This was on first call so it had it's full armour but none the less pretty impressive. (I'm in Club 54 by the way)
