I am a master Droid Engeneer and would like to list the issues that I noticed here in hope of them getting addressed.

Crafting:

Why work to be a master droid engeneer? All you need is the ability to make an armor module and a combat module. After you get that far just level up to be able to make the chasis that you want and you're set. In order to make the best droid that can be made just fill it with armor and combat modules. Your combat modules dont' have to be good I use ones with a combat rating of 92 and some with 25 and they do the same damage. I use lvl one armor and lvl six armor modules and get the same armor result. The level is set at 30, which determines the damage and the armor -set at 1217 (once it gets lowered from 6K or 9K). The quality of resources no longer matters either, nor doesthe amount of experiement points you have because everything is now determined by combat level and that alone. I can take the best resources possilbe, use my experiement points on everything and produce the same result as I do using crap resources and not experimenting at all. This is not right and needs to be addressed. In the same way that BE pets were screwed so too have droids. Though I will admitt it is much improved from what they were after the CU lvl 18, no damage (or very low)and no armor. I think we (and bio-engeneers)need to be given back our experimentation improvements and our resource quality has to be involved again.

Combat:

In this case it is a lvl 30 probot with two lvl 6 armor modules, ungrouped. It fight a lvl 18 mob and hits for 277 each time, twice per mob hit. Suddenly it will only hit for 48 on the same exact kind of mobs until it gets blown up. Once it is recovered from incapacitation it will start hitting for 277 again and then the cycle starts over. It doesn't matter how many times I recall it, what the battery level is, or how many times I log off and back on. Other combat droids have the same problem, not just eh probe.

Repair kits will repair just fine a few times then suddenly they will bring up an error message "your target cannot be repaired with these tools," even if the probe is for sure targeted and the repair kits are not disabled... even from the same stack that was repairing fine before. Again, this will occure until the droid is incapacitated.

I don't know why they had to change an already good, working, and fun system. Part of the fun was teh ability to experiment and improve to make the very best product. It isn't fun as a crafter to make things that are standardized... every lvl 10 will have X amount of hit points and X amount of armor, that stinks! I want my lvl 10 droid to have 4500 hit points because I worked my butt off on my toon instead of some brand new low lvl character making something just as good only because he has the ability to make one componant that determines lvl, damage, and armor. The same applies to the BE profession; pets just stink now. Havew your fun with the combat upgrade but leave the crafting stuff out of it and find a way to make it work.

While I admire your enthusiastic nature..this is the DE Forum

Here you will find that Jenden is our Correspondant and deals with Dev related issues. If you knew where you were you'd know that DEVS only come here when they get lost, so posting DEVS READ THIS is both loud and relatively pointless.

Other than that, you may rely on existing posts to list the publish 18 issues, the old, the grizzled and the wise will have posted one long before you get to this forum.

LOLOL Shian, good call.

Maybe we can create some sort of trap, like a Heffalump trap, for the developers that get lost and wander to here.

I've given up on them even doing anything useful or fun with DE or in fact most any of the crafting professions.

With the CU it is plain that the new dev team are Monty Haul roleplaying types and hack-and-slash EQ'ers. /shrug

QFE... plus you forgot to mention that none of them actually PLAY this game. If they did play, we might see some real improvements, not the crap we've been getting.

I wouldn't wait around for that to happen..hehe he prolly has other more important things to do then to post on these forums

Things that bug me, is that you can no longer see if its a combat droid o.O

Anyone can go ahead put some armor modules into it and say its a combat droid.

It should show there HP including there Combat Rating, or Damage output on the droid deed before the customer purchases it..

thats just something that kindof urks me, also, would be nice to see what lvl the droid is in the deed to.

Sorry, I have to correct you. They play SWG daily and it shows..you know the SWG with Elves, dragons and that pesky bug that says EQ2 on the log in screen? Sure, you know the one..

I support removing combat classes if keeping them in results in a "dumbed down" game
- I support Devs that know how to design a game
