Thread: Why the limits on personality chips?

I had a pre-nerf probot with the sarcastic personality chip and it seemed to make some snide remark almost everytime I told it to attack something. Something like "Oh, and I should risk my hide for yours?". that kind of stuff. With the useless Protocol droid and the marginally useful Surgical droid, I rarely get any kind of 'talk' back at all. Why did they do this? This was only a 'fun thing' to add to the attack class probot. It didn't make it "overpowered" or anything. Why is this gone?
If you can still find a pre-patch probot like this, will it still talk?

Pre-patches still talk, I'm guarding A DZ70 I build with my life since it can still talk. One of these days, years down the road, I will be able to show off that I've got a talking DZ70 and impress all the ewok noobs
