Its time to take a new view of DE because it is apparent that the Devs are not going to respond or fix anything to do with DEs. So here is what I think will happen inwhat time-frame and for me I am going to just work with what we got and forget about any changes happening quickly.

1) Droid Color or Customization is 1st priority to the Devs. This means that we will be able to color droids hopefully in the next release. Based on previous releases we should see the next release at the beginning of next month. When this is released we might or might not be able to use droids at all since this "feature" might make it so the Datapad breaks or something.

2) Combat Droids is not on the priority list and Devs feal as though Balance is more important than Combat Droids. So they will Nerf and Tweek and Fix other classes because they are out of balance before introducing something else that might unbalance the game. I say it will take at least 2 months of Nerfs/Tweeks to balance the game then they will work on Combat Droids. This pushes us more towards the end of the Year before we see the "New" Combat Droids, which is why the Devs don't want to communicate to us when we ask about Combat Droids.

3) UXP and other bugs with droids are not really bugs to the Devs. They are the way it is and should be. I'm sure there is a document somewhere to ignore certain "bugs" because thats the way DEs should be. Devs will not want to share with us this list because it will cause more of a community disturbance than not sharing it with us.

4) Devs feal as though they have done loads more for DEs than almost any other class. This is because they implimented the ability to use Data Modules and Item Modules. They changed the Permadeath on Droids to be non-Perma. They gave us the ability to color Chassis and soon actual Droids. This class has had loads of changes, if you are looking at it as new features instead of features that should have been in place at the beginning.

So in conclusion I think I am just going to deal with my DE skills that I have and be suprised when anything new comes into play. I will be happy for Droid Customization comes out because everyone is going to want a Blue/White R2 unit. I will be happy if there is ever a Combat System even if it means I can't use any droid I make or if I can never sell a Combat Droid to anyone but another DE. The skills that I have still allow me to meet needs of all classes however obsure they are, and allow me to make money. I guess the last thing I need to do is to build a Newbie FAQ about the current droid system for those people who want to know what droids can "do". I will post a website in the future so hopefully we can reduce the number of "Customer Service" callsDEs have to deal with.
