Droids no longer suffer permadeath, but they do now have vitality, much like CH pets. However, there currently is no way for fixing vitality damage on a droid, that I am aware of. Don't know if this will be fixed or not, through the use of the Droid repair kit at some future time, but it can't be done so now, at least to my knowledge. Can anyone confirm this?

You can actually use a pet vitality pack on droids - sad ain't it?

An R-Unit with a Droid and Object Repair Module can also repair a droid I do believe. There are crumbs of usefulness left in our product - even after the dev chew-fests.

I believe that the Droid repair module only fixes Health and Action damage. And the Power Droid can repair Mind damage.

But a repair module fails to work when used in a power droid, right?

Meaning as a DE, I can't even make a single droid to completely fix someone else's droids, I've gotta devote two data slots if I wish to provide those services.

That is correct. At least it was a few days ago. If you haven't noticed, Droids seem to have persitence in the world now, but was this on yesterdays patch notes? So one will need to confirm if the repair module works in the power droids now. I'd do it myself, since I picked up Architect, but I'm out of most of my resources at the moment.

Yes, I had noticed droid world-persistence yesterday. In fact, yesterday afternoon (before 5:00PM Eastern) I set a probot (named 'PowerupsByRho') on patrol from my house to several friends' houses, and all the way to the edge of the buildable area south of Coronet.

When I logged in this morning (perhaps 13 hours later), he was still patrolling around.

My next test is to see if the droid remains on patrol through a server reset... My suspicion is that he will forget his patrol points, and just sit there until I give new orders, but I'd love to be surprised.

Does the power droid even have arms? How's he going to fix anything hehe. I personally love the fact that LE repair droids dont work with repair modules ....well done on that one

I'm not sure if they lose partol points, since I forgot to test that one this morning on shutdown, but they do stay 'aware' after server shutdown and will obey commands like normal. Two days in a row now, my droid has been there to greet me.

If you haven't read it, take a look at something I posted as to my theory on why the last few Droid Patches either haven't been mentioned, or are completely buried amongst other information. Its only a theory, but it makes sense....at least to me it does.
