Welcome, young one. A few tips for you...

1. Jump into the forums feet first and hold your nose! There is a ton of great info on here by some very helpfull people. (and no they don't smell bad either! LOL)

2. Get ready for every question that could possibly ever be asked about droids! To answer these questions... see #1

3. Get yourself some pricing sheets made up. You can follow any guidelines you like, there are plenty. I have found it's easiest to keep it simple. 1 price for each kind of droid regardless of the type of mods in it. There is so many credits floating out there that it really doesn't matter a lot. I price all probots 60k, the 600 cl r3's at 70k, crafters at 50k, then the single mod crafters or others 10-40k depending. Don't worry about getting precise on the pricing, just wing it all, as long as you can still make a money and have fun.

4. Go back and read #2, don't let it bother you. LOL You will spend more time in a city answering questions than anything else you were there to do in the first place.

5. If you want a vendor, hang out in a "mall" that doesn't have a droid vendor, see someone of importance, ask if you can place a vendor there. If you are very friendly and helpfull one of your customers will eventually ask if you would like to place a vendor in their mall. Just don't try the vendor in a house on dantooine, lol I tried that for 6 months just outside Agro outpost and sold maybe 10. I moved to a mall on tatooine and sold 10 in the first couple days.

6. Factories, factories, factories! Build up your mods and components by the hundreds before getting to deep into a good vendor. Build everything, you just might need one late one night, eerrr need 10. lol Lets see, 1 house full of resources and 1 house full of parts... that should do it!

7. Have a good printer! Go back to #2... then see #1! This profession is more like a business than a game. This is the most indepth one out there. We are HIGHLY overlooked. Hope you have a keen liking for the little things, lots or organizing, and plenty of research... you'll need it for all those components.

8. HAVE FUN! It's a great profession.
