Right now, watching the forum 'drama' is almost as much fun as playing the game was sometimes. LOL

There must be a problem if Smed not only publicly acknowledges the existence of SWG, but directly addresses the community.

Yea, I posted, hopefully they are serious about listening.


I think I know what has them really scared. They expected some people to SAY they were quitting, they may even have expected some people TOO quit, yet I don't think they actually expected as many people to quit as there is/was.


Now what really has them scared (IMO hope I don't get banned) is that, their #1 competition has opened up 3 other new servers this week. Advertising that people can start without being behind. I doubt this is a coincedence. This means that a lot of people may go there or somewhere else and not come back.


Also couple this with even those who stay here playing may not even reccomend the game to friends.


This has a lot of people worried I bet. I would be.

The MMORPG interview is a joke - thats what really gets me about all this,SOE play it up like theres not a problem, and I think thats why the players have reacted as strongly as they have


One of my guildies just quit over the whole 1xp thing and I suspect thats going to be enough to start the domino effect as I suspect the others only needed 1 more reason to quit.....

Yea I wasn't crazy about the interviews either.


The current attitude of saying that those are unhappy just can't "adapt," is bogus. They need to acknowledge that the new system has problems and that is really why people are unhappy.


You can sit there and say the new system will allow better content to be added later or whatever, but that's irrelevent if there is nobody around to make content for. Were not all whiney crybabies, we have valid complaints and concerns. SOE wont start to dig themselves out of this rut until they acknowledge this and stop acting like we are a minority.
