So what is the purpose of the Surgical Droid? I realize it's currently bugged, but when it does work, will it provide simply the same functionality as a med mod, or will it have some other neat-and-nfity like being able to heal without Medic trained or improve treatment/med use skills?

I'm shopping for some healing help in the wilds and just want to know my options.

By Soe's design,most droid chassis provide no difference in functionality.

The exceptions arethe probot (which can effectivly tank), and the power drodi (who can recharge).

As a small bonus some chassis can have personality chips.

Bugged chassis: (these modules will not work in listed chassis)

Droid Repair: le repair (and advanced), advanced power droid, surgical (and advanced), advanced protocol

Storage: Surgical

Naming: Any speaking droid.

Any corrections?

Holocron recently posted something to the effect that they want to have surgical droids heal wounds automatically. They just have not implemented it yet and he didn't give any ETA on when they would (he was concentrating on quite a few other issues in his response).

You only said adv version of power droid. Does the repair module work in the standard power droid? Seems like Repair modules should be limited to droids with arms which would be all but mouse droids, power droids and load lifters.
