I know a lot of our work is special orders, but what do you keep in stock for when someone "wanders in off the street" ?

I took the rest of my single-module R4s off my vendor because all but two had gone two weeks without selling... I have so many unsold droids it isn't funny. I put three R2 units on my vendor last night mainly as a test - there are so many module combos I've never sold the same droid twice.

They've all had level 4 med modules, though....

I don't at all.

I get enough business from special orders and word of mouth to support myself.

As a master, I have so many combinations of droids/modules/etc. that it's just not practical to stock them.

Heh...I'm not master yet, just blueprints 4 and production 2...

Just trying to plan ahead.

When i have time:

1 Probot no modules (all probots 2Xlevel 4 armor)

1 Probot 10 item storage

1 Probot med 110%

1 Probot Med 110% 10 item storage

1 R3 Food/Chem crafting, Med 110%, 10 item storage 75 data storage

1 R2 Same as above

1 R2 Food/Chem crafting, 10 item Storage

1 R3 Armor/Cloth Crafting, Med 110%, 10 item 75 data storage

1 R2 Same as above

1 R2 Same as above no med module

I do the same for Structure and Weapons/Droid crafting. I also have a few Treadwells with crafting and repair modules and a storage mouse that are alot cheaper, but you get the idea. I Price the R3s high then the R2s Then the Probots. This way there is a price range, and I add 1500 cash per module added with an R2 with no modules stating at a base of 10,000 credits, R3s at 15,000, and probots at 8000.

At these prices, and with a constant variety, I do a brisk business, and very rarely am called on to do a special order. Once every day or 2 I have to make 6 or 7 droids to replace stock, but that gives me time to have factory run off 25 or so Arm Packages, Adv Brains, Adv Motive, Brains, Sensors, Armor 4, and most importantly 50 or so of those pesky Sensor Suites that have 3 sub parts. I hand make the individual modules, and any other parts needed. Droid production fast with these sub parts in crates, and restocking take little time.
