I have a crazy idea, fellow DE's.

Let's hopefully assume that we will get to make Droideka in the near (2 month) future.

Let's hopefully assume they are l337 and can 0wn stuff.

Let's assume anyone can use them, or at least many people can (except for newbies of some level)

Here is my idea:

We make the Droidekas only for ourselves for the first X number of weeks, so only DE's have them!

So even though we can sell them and we will eventually, we get together and only make them for our own use for quite a while, thus fomenting great excitement and longing among the other players for them, thus increasing the price when we DO sell them! I don't care so much about the money as just having a droideka rolling around behind me and the other DE's as people go crazy wanting them.

What do you say? Probably only masters will be able to make them, so theoretically that number on a server will be relatively low. I know that it will be almost impossible to get people to do this, but I hope to try it.

Heh sounds good in a buisness sense. Why you think they raved about the ps2 or x-box before it came out so they could jack the price up another hundred and people would pay it because they really wanted it. Now they run about 200 each. Id actually go for it if i didnt think id be loosing sales.

Well, don't worry, you won't get any sales from me.

1. I wouldn't have the money to buy one

2. I want to be able to build my own (I nearly fell out of my chair with excitement when I created my first MSE mouse droid, and I named him Pepe =])

If I am master by this time, I might try to go for the same thing, if I don't get tempted by a 1billion credit pay check =]

That sounds good. Make droidekas only usable from DE.

Maybe the Droind Engineer should be able to 'tame'(the jawa way) droidekas on lok.
